  • Collate and interpret accurate sales data for sales order forecasting book, reviewing and actioning back-order report
  • Proactive sales and service calls to new and existing customers
  • Take customer payments over the phone and log onto the system, along with daily banking allocation

  • Assisting with holiday calculations for new starters and leavers part way through holiday years
  • Full training will be given
  You will have excellent administration and IT skills being highly organised having the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage your time effectively.  In addition, you will have first class communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, being incredibly personable and friendly and first-class attention to detail.  In addition, you will be friendly, flexible and adaptable, being willing to “muck-in” where needed within a small team environment to help team members.  Some knowledge of HR would be desirable but is not essential.   Providing secretarial support to the care and public team lawyers, duties to include:  
  • Typing documents, emails, file notes etc for Fee Earners
  • Preparing legal aid applications
  • Opening files on the case management system
  • Answering calls and assisting clients with enquiries
  • Liaising with clients/professionals to arrange appointments/meetings etc
  • Dealing with incoming emails/post and corresponding as appropriate
  • Digital dictation using Bighand
  • Updating the CMS database continuously
  • Ensuring files are full time recorded for billing
  • Preparing bundles on BundleDocs software
  • Updating experts register
  • Assisting other Fee Earners within the team and providing cover for other secretaries in their absence
  • Ensuring confidentiality and security of documentation and information at all times
  You will have:  
  • Knowledge of public law care proceedings together with and understanding of legal aid
  • Fast and accurate typing skills

  • Ensuring all application rejections / queries are followed up and resolved in an efficient and customer focused manner
  • Ensuring all amendments are completed accurately and in a timely manner and within company guidelines
  You will have:
  • Previous customer service experience
  • First class verbal and written communication skills
