Celebrating the role of temporary workers

Elite personnel services of Westgate, Cleckheaton presents their temporary worker of the year award.

Last week, specialist commercial office and accounts recruitment agency, elite personnel established in 1998, presented their annual temporary worker of the year award 2011 to Karen Kirkup of Birkenshaw, Bradford. Karen registered with elite personnel in October 2010, and started working on her one and only temporary assignment the following week. During her time with elite, Karen was extremely reliable, hardworking, very committed and dedicated, which resulted in her being offered a permanent role with the company in December 2011. Her manager Richard Hill says: “I am delighted to say that Karen fully deserves the elite temp of the year award. She has proved to be an important part of our development as a function. In particular, Karen has demonstrated considerable tenacity, efficiency and dedication to achieving results in what is a challenging environment. I am extremely pleased that her efforts have been recognised with this award”.
