Commenting on receiving the award, Colin said: \u201cI am thrilled to receive this accolade, being recognised for my efforts, particularly during these testing times is a great feeling. After being made redundant from my job of 34 years, 10 years ago, I registered with 2 large recruitment agencies and I soon realised that I was \u2018just a number\u2019. I then registered with Elite Personnel who had supplied temps to my previous employer and their personal approach, constant communication and frequent visits meant that my 3 week placement lasted 18 months! Deborah actually came to the rescue when my summer holiday request was declined by the company where I was working and she helped with the negotiations to eventually have the request approved.\u201d<\/p>\n
