Part time Laboratory Administrator/Quality Control

Are you an experienced Laboratory Administrator/Quality Controller seeking a new, part time role to start ASAP on a temporary to permanent basis?  Do you have Laboratory experience and a technical aptitude?  Is Low Moor, West Yorkshire convenient for you?  If so, this could be just the job for you!

Full Quality Control and laboratory duties, to include:

• Control/completion/record of QC testing/analysis as per standards/test methods
• Maintenance of approved raw materials compliances, i.e. COAs, SDSs
• Reporting issues arising from manufacturing testing to include NCRs
• Maintaining accreditations and audit requirements
• Full upkeep of equipment calibration requirements
• Support with quality assurance / audit requirements
• Undertaking health and safety audits
• Reporting SOSs

You will have:

• Laboratory experience in a materials field or similar discipline would be advantageous but full training will be given
• Chemistry/Science background preferred
• Sound technical aptitude and analytical skills
• Well organised and methodical approach
• Capable of working on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Computer literate with good verbal/written skills essential

This is a part time role, 22 hours per week over 3 days, flexible in regards to the days so suit both candidate and the company.

Full driving licence desired
